How Long Does it Take?
Actiwash is quick to apply and results can often be seen from 1-14 days, although it may take longer depending on the weather, age and type of contamination. The self-cleansing process can continue for several months and is usually fully complete within a couple of seasons.
The Science of Actiwash:
Actiwash affects the proteins and cell membrane of microorganisms, consequently causing the release of nitrogen and phosphorus from cells. Over time, the processes of natural weathering work to eliminate the dead biofilm.
*Under the biocidal product regulations, Actiwash is not marketed for use on moss despite it having the ability to kill moss. We recommend clearing any heavy moss deposits prior to application.
